Biography

I've grown up dealing with a lot of crap. I was born into a healthy enough home and spent the first thirteen years of my life with both my parents, raised on a christian youth camp. I was pretty spoiled. I have three sibligns, all younger than me. All of them amazing, one of them autistic but highly functional. My two sides of the family are drastically different but also somewhat similar. My Mom's side of the family are conservative but open-minded catholics while my Dad's side of the family have all been pastoral evangelicals. It's made things interesting, and it's made family reunions a pain for myself specifically. My Dad sadly enough died from leukemia when I turned thirteen. Two years later, my Mom remarried and we moved from the middle of nowhere to the middle of surburbia. That's when the sexual abuse kicked in. And the hallucinations, and the dissocitive episodes, and the overall craziness.

My parents are now divorced, my Dad just out of jail and in a halfway house. Many would say I come from a broken home but I don't think so. My Mom is as strong as ever, my siblings always see the light side of things and get along. We don't have anything to fight about among us and outside the siblings squabbles we remain pretty peace-friendly. We moved out of Surburbia and to beach-town, California and it's been so good for me.

I'm now entering into my senior year, not attending school, and rather educating myself. I love it. There's a great support system for me to fall back on out here no matter how much it hurts my pride.

I've been diagnosed with epilepsy, depression, anxiety problems, PTSD, OCD, and a non-specified dissociative disorder. I've declared myself bi and although I try and stay true to my christian faith, I beg for a church reformation and try not to associate myself too strongly with it. Most of my friends are athiests or incarnational or somehow in the tabboo realm of the church. I love them and I hate how others tend to shun them. So although I may consider myself a disciple of Christ, I really like to look at things from a postmodern point. I almost swore over to Unitarian Universalists but missed Jesus too much.

I hope you like reading my blog and I hope you get something out of it. I also hope to go to Reed two years out.

Personal goals

Get my high-school diploma, become an author, find happiness, hitchhike along the West Coast, save the Christian faith, help bring up my siblings right, stand on my own two feet, recover from life, get over myself.

A special goal I have picked out in mind lately is to get my ass over to Africa and work one-on-one with the women in Sudan. It doesn't seem to be a popular agenda and I'm having trouble finding a team that I might be able to organize myself with. But I've just felt it tug at my heart the past eight months and I just don't feel right donating money to another cause without putting in time and getting my hands dirty. Wanna help me make my dream come true? Please contact me with any information you have.

Bragging Rights

I've been a part of an International Ballet Ensemble that toured Europe.

I have editors and publishers interested in my postmodern views and style of writing.

I have an awesome Mom whom I love. I may not be able to take credit for that but I still think it's pretty cool.
