Biography: In brief, I'm a girl of 19 from a traditional, Northern English background. I have big ambitions and don't like to settle for anyone or anything. I want to travel, meet many different people and cultures and very importantly for me, live my life feeling like I've lived for myself. I enjoy writing, reading, nature, philosophy and many forms of art.
My sheroes: Feminist heroes to me are the people working in counselling and advice, telling women that they can insist on contraception, they do have choices, they have a right to their own career and a life they want, and don't deserve to be beaten or abused. Those are the people really helping to empower women when they really need it.
Hobbies: Reading, writing, music, cycling, languages, getting out in the fresh air and standing up for what I believe in!
